Reining Trainer - Cody Clock
Cody Clock has been the resident trainer at Day Creek Ranch since March of 2008. He also has extensive experience prior to coming here serving as assistant to some of the best in the business. He has worked for Pete Kyle, Steve and Carol Metcalf, and spent a brief time with Foran Performance Horses. Cody practically grew up on the back of a horse and has been riding for most of his life.
Cody offers full and part-time training programs and is accepting both open and non-pro aged and ancillary horses at this time. Cody really excels in teaching the non-pro the details of having a successful run. He has the ability to see and explain the elements that can really make a difference in your riding.
Hunter Jumper Equitation - Stacie Ryan
Stacie, a native Californian, competed as a top equitation rider in the '80s. She won multiple medal finals and year end championships including USEF National Champion, WCE, CPHA, PCHA, LAHJ and Foxfiled finals. When ther were no longer any equitation classes for Stacie to compete in she moved on to the jumpers.
In 1995, Stacie moved to Canada to train with Pan Am Gold Medalist and Olympic Silver Medalist Jill Henselwood. In the 10 years in Canada, she competed internationally in numerous G.P.s and world cup qualifiers, with her mare "Same Ol Song". While in Canada, Stacied developed multiple green horses up to the national level. "Black Ice" is one of her most notable successes. Stacie moved back to California and opened SBR Farms. She has coached multiple equitation and Hunter champions. SBR Farms offers a customized program for the HOrse and Rider at any level. Stacie provides first class training and care at a first class facility.

Eventing Trainer - Michelle Emmermann
Michelle has competed internationally at the two star level on her horse, Knight’s Honor. She was short-listed for the prestigious Developing Rider’s Program while training in England with Sandy Phillips and Angela Tucker.
Upon returning to the U.S., Michelle worked for a number of trainers including renowned show jumper, Gabby Salick. She also continued the work she began in Europe with young horses, specializing in breaking and training green horses.
Michelle pulls on a wide variety of training philosophies for her 3 day eventing program. From Ray Hunt to Greg Best, she designs individual training programs, specially tailored to bring each horse and rider to their fullest potential.
Sapphire Eventing offers a variety of experiences including cross-country schooling trips, expert horse care, coaching at horse trials, and a fun, supportive atmosphere.
